Verity: Who and What

We have all heard the old adage: “knowing is half the battle”, but to what end? How are we as business owners meant to keep up with everything happening around us when we are trying to run our businesses and earn a living?

Yet knowing what is going on in the market around your business is integral to its survival. Knowing what your clients want, knowing what your suppliers can deliver, knowing what your staff need and knowing what your competitors are doing are but some of the things that a business owner needs to keep an eye on.

For most of the above a simple conversation can provide you with the information that you are looking for, i.e. your suppliers, staff and clients will be able to give you a good idea as to what their wants and needs are. Where we often run into problems is finding out what our competitors are doing. Here you will often run into an information block that is difficult to overcome unless, you have a good network of competitors who are willing to share information. Factoring in the economy and how its performance affects your business ecosystem as well, you can have quite a difficult time trying to forecast and plan ahead.

But the complexity doesn’t stop there. By adding your financial requirements (your financial expectations of the business) and those of your bankers, suddenly something as simple as selling a product or service can become quite a big, costly and time-consuming headache, one that often ends with you spending more time on peripheral issues rather than focusing on the core of your business.

This is where Verity comes in…

Verity was and is being developed as a tool for business owners everywhere to remove some of the uncertainty of doing business. We do this by:

  1. Removing some of the lack of information,
  2. By providing insight into your business finances and,
  3. Creating forecasts on what your business can potentially do (depending on how the economy performs and how well you are able to achieve your budgetary goals).
  4. We also remove the uncertainty about competitors by showing you an average snapshot of how the best and worst performers in your industry are doing.
  5. We don’t just stop there either; we do this all while smoothing your relationship with you bank (and hopefully improving your access to loan funding).

All of this is provided through a simple to use online platform.

In short:

  1. Verity provides financial analytics and insight into your business and what is going on around you
  2. Verity provides financial models to provide a picture of what your business can do/be in the future
  3. Verity is here to help you achieve your business (and financial) goals
